this is part of a set of four pieces depicting my idea of a typical italian mountain town in the 1800's

 

 

 

 

 

I started from a 11 x 17 inch drawing done in pencil crayon which i laser copied and magnified 400 percent giving me four 11 x 17 sections.

 

 

 

 

with these I then reapplied more pencil crayon and used knives to etch away and add detail

 

 

 

 

 

the originals are 11 x 17 inches and are in various collections
